Finding the right location for a luxury fashion brand is one of the most important elements of a successful business operation. Giorgio Armani produces high price clothes for women and men; therefore the location of a new store is fundamental for a high number of sales. A store such as Armani would be located in a busy, luxury hotel such as Hotel Kempinski. Due to the fact Kempinski is a five star luxury brand; the image of the hotel guarantees the ongoing visitor occupancy, leading all stores inside the lobby to run successful businesses. An expensive hotel usually drives people of higher social classes to enjoy their services, so it can be highly assumed that those who have respect for quality will also buy clothes from Armani.

Different views of globalization

Expatriate compensation
The research on expatriate compensation has been scarce although many other aspects related to international transfers have been dealt with quite frequently (Briscoe, 1995: 128). Bonache and Fernandez (1997: 457) state that compensation is the aspect of expatriation which has received least attention (see also Suutari and Tornikoski, 2000). On the other hand, expatriate compensation is a complex issue both for individual expatriates and for international companies. Hamill (1989: 26) states that the compensation package is one of the most difficult elements in expatriate policy. The complexity is linked to the diversity of the goals, which should be taken into account in the development of international compensation policies and practices, as will be discussed later.

Ethics in the Gambling Industry
There is little doubt that legalized commercial gambling is now "big business" in many countries, providing a range of economic benefits such as increased government revenue, regional economic development and job creation. However, it is equally recognized that gambling has a range of negative social impacts, with problem gambling arguably attracting the most vocal concern. A significant business issue now facing many gambling providers is growing pressure from a range of stakeholders to adopt more ethical practices in their gambling operations to prevent or minimize problem gambling and its harmful effects (Hing, 2001).

Everyone is an entrepreneur
Baron's (2002) definition of entrepreneurship indicates that entrepreneurship involves a complex process in which specific individuals recognize opportunities and then act to convert them into tangible economic benefits by setting up a new business. This corresponds with Schumpeter's (1934, from: Elliot, 1983) early definition of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs. He states that an enterprise is "a carrying out of new combinations" and entrepreneurs are the individuals whose function it is to "carry them out". According to Schumpeter everyone is an entrepreneur only when he is actually "carrying out new combinations, and he loses that character as soon as he built up his business.

Employee Relations: Trade Unions & HRM
Employee relations are critical to the success of the organisation. Good communication channels need to be in place for information flow between employers and employees. This holds true for both small and large organisations. In large organisations, there are legal rules in place to engage employee representatives. Employee representation could be in the form of trade unions, works councils, joint working groups and ad-hoc groups. In small companies, the emphasis is on direct communication between employer and employees. Small firms do not require elaborate representational systems and the legal framework excludes them from laws to consult with worker representatives in some cases.

Buyer behaviour
The task of marketing is to identify consumers' needs and wants accurately, then to develop products and services that will satisfy them. For marketing to be successful, it is not sufficient to merely discover what customers require, but to find out why it is required. Only by gaining a deep and comprehensive understanding of buyer behaviour can marketing's goals be realised. Such an understanding of buyer behaviour works to the mutual advantage of the consumer and marketer, allowing the marketer to become better equipped to satisfy the consumer's needs efficiently and establish a loyal group of customers with positive attitudes towards the company's products.

Employees' Motivation
Employees' motivation is "The heart of giving the people what they really want most from work" (Dell, 1988, pp. 9-10). The more you are able to provide what they want, the more you should expect what you really want, namely: productivity, quality, and service. Jones and George (2010, p. 17) argue that employees' motivation consist "the psychological forces that determine the direction of a person's behaviour in an organisation, a person's level of effort, and a person's level of persistence." The behavioural direction of a person is described as "the many possible behaviours that a person could engage in." Effort indicates how hard people work. Persistence on the other hand refers to whether, when dealing with roadblocks and obstacles, employees keep trying or give up.

Equality and Discrimination
Every democratic country's laws and constitution, have inherent in it somewhere or the other, a law that entitles all of its citizens to be given free and equal treatment. From United Kingdom to Nigeria, or from one of the world's largest democracy India, to Australia. All countries guarantee to its citizens the right against discrimination.
Gilmore and Williams (2009) define discrimination as the means to distinguish between one thing and another. In terms of people, to discriminate means to choose one person over another based on something that is irrelevant. This discrimination can be on grounds of age, sex, marital status, gender, race, religion, belief, sexual orientation etc.

Employee Development
«HRD consists of organized learning experiences provided to employers, within a specified period of time, to bring about the possibility of performance improvement and/or personal growth». This definition of HRD by Nadler explains perfectly the need for Training and Development in a business as well as for its employees. Effective communication for business organizations
Business organizations, like other social systems, require effective communication in order to operate efficiently and meet their objectives. Intercultural communication is a communication process in which people from different cultures try to understand what others from different cultures try to communicate and what their messages mean (Ferraro 2010). The two major components of Intercultural communication are made up of verbal communication and non verbal communication. To ensure that effective cross-cultural communication occurs, is it more important to address issues and problems with respect to both verbal and nonverbal communication. It is important that both verbal and nonverbal communication contributes to effective cross cultural communication as they both complement each other to portray a complete message.

E-commerce businesses
E-commerce businesses were riding on a wave of fast growth till 2007 when the sales grew 18% YoY. Sales growth slowed to 13% in 2008 and is expected to slow down further to about 10% in 2009. This growth has come in spite of the global economic crisis, and is a clear indication of the strength of e-commerce.
E-commerce websites have been growing by double digits over the last few years. The economic recession has slowed down the growth, but sales are still rising, contrary to the falling sales of brick and mortar stores.
