On 3 July 2006, Texaco Limited became Chevron Limited. But Chevron is still committed to the Texaco brand and the Texaco name will continue to be seen at service stations, on road tankers and on Havoline lubricant packaging. The move is part of a global project to change the corporate name to Chevron Corporation.
