Comparison with Alter's Framework and the Information Technology Interaction Model

Alter approaches the work system method for understanding and analyzes system in organizations. The work system consists of four elements: the business processes, participants, information, and technologies. Adding to those four internal elements, the work system framework is consisted of work system's output /external elements which are products and service, customers, environment, infrastructure, and strategies. Alter introduces to analyze and evaluate information system through this work system framework method to understand the organization.
