Violence Juvenile Crime

Violence and juvenile crime has been on a dramatic rampage for the past three decades. In the United States of America for example, the juvenile systems have been strained exorbitantly owing to the highest number of juvenile influx. Gunn, J, Maden, A. & Swinton, M. (2005) Research pronouncements designate that violent offenses arbitrated in juvenile courts have augmented to 31% since 1986.

Juvenile Delinquency Crime

The Tribal Youth Power Program (TYP) is a cultural based social, life and leadership skills development program aimed at reducing Juvenile delinquency and crime among tribal (Native American) youth and their families. The program offers alcohol and drug prevention case management and education, invention, prevention services meant to remove the barriers that affect youth development and achievement.
