A Nutritional Outcome or a Predictor Variable

Food security or insecurity is the new concept that replaced the usage of hunger in the 1980s. In the article the author gives the definition of food security as "1, the ready availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods and 2, the assured ability to acquire personally acceptable food in a socially acceptable way". The word food security covers not only for individual or local level but also for national and international level.
