Case study for Eddie Stobart


The Stobart Group is a large logistics company operating mainly in UK but also in Europe. The Group started warehousing and distribution division as well as logistics management but later on they have expanded their company which contains rail, port and air divisions furthermore.
Eddie Stobart has established his company in 1950 as an agricultural business. Then 20 years later the company was incorporated as Eddie Stobart Ltd.

Case Study: ABC Bank

What are the pros and cons of this case in ABC bank?

Pros: Considering the extreme situations that ABC Bank had been undergoing, it had to take the decision of this merger with Singapore Bank. As the major aim of the financial institutions all around the world is maximization of profit, this had to be done. Every intangible benefit that a financial institution makes is due to the financial benefits. When this is running on the leeward side, there has to be some way out or else it could lead to unfavourably results like absenteeism amongst the employees or even dissatisfaction amongst them in the long-run. Under the situations decisions such as mergers become the only option.

The Impact of Web Technology on Online Customers

The purpose of Chapter 2, the Literature Review, is to construct a thorough picture of all the research that has been done on the topic thus far. Because the research topic is on “the impact of web technology on online customers as in helping to remove some barriers using E-bay as a case study”, the Literature Review pulls together research in these areas.
