Finding a new location for an Armani store - in a Hotel

Finding the right location for a luxury fashion brand is one of the most important elements of a successful business operation. Giorgio Armani produces high price clothes for women and men; therefore the location of a new store is fundamental for a high number of sales. A store such as Armani would be located in a busy, luxury hotel such as Hotel Kempinski. Due to the fact Kempinski is a five star luxury brand; the image of the hotel guarantees the ongoing visitor occupancy, leading all stores inside the lobby to run successful businesses. An expensive hotel usually drives people of higher social classes to enjoy their services, so it can be highly assumed that those who have respect for quality will also buy clothes from Armani.

"Until recently research on advertising appeals focused on either physical products or a comparison in relation to the way in which advertising appeals differed between products and services (predominantly professional services). With the continuing growth in the MICE and 5 star resort hotel market, the purpose of this paper is to look at the effectiveness of rational and emotional advertising appeals with respect to the MICE and 5 star resort hotel sector and provide a foundation for further study in this area."
