Appraising Job Performance

The present case talks about the appraisal system that is used at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. It can be seen that a lot of replies have followed central tendency. This is definitely a flaw. The reason for the same is that this effect makes the respondents mark average so as to avoid committing mistakes. As far as India is concerned, there is a huge amount of value given to social systems. Much of the responses have shown that the family structure and culture is highly followed in the organizations in the country. In fact the belief goes as the head of the organization stands as the supreme and the subjects who form the employee body follow the sayings of the head. The performance appraisal of the companies generally goes as unauthentic. The members are considered to be too arrogant if they raise questions to the supreme.
