Alternative Distribution for Sugar Sweets Inc


The major issues and problems presented in the case are as follows:
* Sugar Sweets Inc. wanted to diversify its marketing strategies to increase the sales as the traditional distributor system was getting more competitive and distorted due to:
1. Consolidation of wholesaler and distributor industry as large ones grew larger and smaller ones smaller.
2. Opening of warehouse clubs that provided same products at cheaper rate and with much more variety.
