In 1960 the birth of a historic franchise full of excellence and tradition was born of a man by the name of Bud Adams. Born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1923, Bud Adams has many titles such as Cherokee, Engineer, World War Two Veteran, Oilman, Millionaire, Entrepreneur, Visionary, Husband (of 62 years), and most importantly to him, Father. Bud Adams has always been passionate about sports at the Culver Military Academy in 1940 he lettered in three sports. After a spending a little time at Menlo College, he transferred to the University of Kansas, and received his degree in engineering.
