Risk assessment is an integral part of the physical protection system. It incorporates all the areas of physical security and gives an analysis on the system as a whole and each area of protection. This is a system that is very important in the security of a facility but can be difficult to maintain and run. This paper answers question number one from Chapter 15 in the PPS book and looks at the importance of risk analysis to an organization.
